THE GUITAR PLAYER & THE LADY KILLER

From the author of VIRGINS! A Memoir of the Sexual Revolution comes Zola Lawrence's psychological and crime story THE GUITAR PLAYER & THE LADY KILLER: Partially Inspired by the 1976 Chicago Columbo Murders.

It isn't a romance, although two couples meet and fall in love. It isn't a thriller, although a few people are murdered. It isn't a hippie chronicle although sex, drugs, rock'n roll, and New Age talk play background in the four lovers' lives. It isn't pornographic, although graphic sexual descriptions appear as character development.

So what is THE GUITAR PLAYER & THE LADY KILLER? A stirred and mixed blend of making music, making love, and killing others.

It's difficult to put in a few words everything that is contained here in The Guitar Player and The Lady Killer by Zola Lawrence. Though thrilling, erotic, mystical, and romantic, it's in a genre all it's own because it contains all of this and more. The love and lives of those involved in the music world of the 60's and 70's finds itself in the worlds of drug dealing and Family(mafia) connections, street musicians, and teens growing up in the suburbs.

How lives become connected across miles and minds become in tuned to another through experiences shared. You may look at the mystical aspects after reading this book and think it's all just drug induced mania, but if you take another moment and think about it you may come to the conclusion that it's possible for two or more people to share thoughts and emotions at the same moment even though they are miles and miles separated from the other.

How connected are you to past or current loves, past friends? Do you think one of those connections could seduce you into murdering family members? That's what happens to one teen(Kim)who just turns 18 in The Guitar Player and The Lady Killer.

I'm not sure if it was the passion of the music world or the passion of love found that I loved the most about The Guitar Player and The Lady Killer. Having experienced some of this world in my younger years it invoked memories certainly of that age when finding the right person to love is not only confusing but can take you places you normally wouldn't go. I loved reading The Guitar Player and The Lady Killer by Zola Lawrence and expect great things from her in the future. Author of Virgins-A Memoir of the Sexual Revolution which I also loved, Zola writes exceptionally well and her characters stand out as fully developed. Male or Female. I highly recommend picking up a copy of The Guitar Player and The Lady Killer for a thrilling read that will take you into other worlds perhaps not yet known.
